The North Georgia mountain air filled my lungs, a cocktail of damp earth and newborn blossoms, soothed my soul. Grey skies hung overhead, but the world below was a riot of pink and white, a watercolor masterpiece painted by God himself. The sound of spring birds telling their stories to the word is my soundtrack. My walks are my lifeline. They are the bedrock of my sanity, the sacred space where I could breathe, pray, and... well, not explode.
